Chapter Eleven
Darkclaw was still working on that "making them wish they hadn't" thing, which was pretty evident. First, he would have to find who sent him to this accursed forest and then figure out how to make them wish they hadn't.
It had never taken him this long to implement a plan, but he was sure it would be worth it.
Sooner or later, he'd be able to charge headfirst into dangerous situations again.
People you were told frightening stories about seem much less frightening when you see them trying to find the warmest spot in a freezing cold forest, which is why Soundstar no longer terrified Darkclaw.
"Hello there!" And that was Stonepaw, an apprentice who had been here for many moons. He had been Soundstar's apprentice, aiding his mentor in the destruction of the clans.
Of course, Stonepaw denied he and Soundstar had done anything wrong, he insisted it was for the good of the clans.
Darkclaw had become good friends with Stonepaw and a few others. Stonepaw shouted at Darkclaw again, "Darkclaw! We found good prey!" He didn't have to yell. Darkclaw could hear him fine.
Darkclaw slowly padded towards Stonepaw, and although he was eager to eat, he was afraid he would collapse if he ran. There were two others sitting next to the prey, Maplefeather, and Ravenpool.
Darkclaw had never asked Maplefeather and Ravenpool what they had done, and he was sure that even if he did ask, the she-cats wouldn't tell him anyways.
