Kelli's POV

"It really is beautiful Kelli" Kate says looking around the house. I nod and finish making our tea, i hand her cup to her and start to drink mine.

"So what did you want to talk about?" I ask her before taking another sip of my hot tea, I'm still not use to the weather. I look over at Kate that came over because she had something important to tell me.

"So I know that I'm supposed to pay you and Jason all the money, and I am I have almost all of it now. But the reason why I came here is because after I pay you guys off I want out" she say in a rush. I take a second to think about everything that she said.

"You want out?" I ask her, just to make sure I heard her right. She nods her head and speaks up.

"Like you and Jason are doing by moving up here" she says playing with her hands.

"Jason and I can never get out. We only moved up here to be more safe and have the kids be safe as well" I say correcting her.

"But if you really want out you will have to talk to Jason about it" I say finally. She nods and we continue drinking our hot tea.

"So have you and Jason thought about having more kids?" She asks me. I pick up both of our empty cups and put them in the sink.

"I don't know. I mean Jason wants more, he wants like seven but I think we are good where we're at. I mean I love kids and I would love to have them but it's just too more stress in this life" I say, she nods her head. Just then Jason comes down the stairs holding Adrain in his arms.

"Kate you and everyone else has a job. Like now" he says in a snappy tone. I give her a look saying 'sorry' but she just walks off. Jason's walks over to the living room and put Adrian in his swing next to Sophia's, who is in hers. Mel is watching a movie in the living room as well.

Jason walks back into the kitchen where I am and lefts me up onto the counter. He lays he head on my chest and I run my fingers through is now back to light brown hair. He dyed it back after I got away from Letterman, I was sad but oh well.

"Are you ok babe?" I ask him kissing the top of his head. He nods and looks up at me.

"Last night was amazing by the way" he whispers in my ear. I laugh and feel the heat rise to my cheeks. He laughs and kisses my cheeks.

"So what's your plans today?" I ask him after a minute. He stands up straight and rubs his face.

"I have a meeting" he simply says. Melanie runs in and runs over the the fridge grabbing her princess juice cup before running back into the living room.

"But the gang is out today" I say. He nods and walks over to the sink, getting a glass of water. That when I know what he is talking about.

"Jason, you have to be kidding me. Don't you remember why we came here, to lay low and keep everyone safe. How are we supposed to do that if your going around having gang meetings and letting everyone know we're here?!" I say jumping off the counter. He turns and looks at me, his eyes turning slightly black.

"Look, we are down two members. We didn't have enough before all this shit went down. I'm going out there to look for two more people and that it. I already have them picked out and they agreed j just have to go and make sure they are for real" he say angrily. I just nod, not wanting to start a fight with him.

"So are you going to make me my breakfast or what?" He asks me. I turn to look at him to see if he is joking but when I see he's not I just give a light laugh and began to walk off. He grabs my arms and pulls me back to him.

"Did I tell you that you could walk away from me?" He asks me squeezing my arm, his eyes completely black. That's when I lose it.

"It doesn't matter if you told me I could walk off or not, you don't control me. No one does. So don't you ever think that you do or try to, because I will take your kids and walk out. Never coming back because I'm not going to have my kids grow up with a controlling ass of a father like I did. So either you let me go right now and never touch me again or I leave with your kids and you will only see them three times a year" everything I just said was 100% true, it doesn't even take a second for him to let go of my arm.

He steps back, his eyes going back to their normal color. He face had sadness and hurt on it. He runs his hands through his hair and looks back at me.

"You would do that?" He ask, his voice just in a whisper. I nod my head and take a breath.

"I forgave you the last two times you hit me and put your hands on me, some people may think I'm stupid for forgiving you but I did. I not going to let my kid grow up like that, so next time you even grab my like that in a non joking or loving way, I'll leave for a couple of days with the kids. I know it may seem like I'm overreacting but I'm really not" I tell him. That's when I hear something drop, I look over to see Melanie standing there with an empty cup by her feet.

"Daddy hurt mommy?" She asks with tears in her eyes. I look over at Jason to see him have tears in his eyes as well. I walk over to Mel and get down to her level.

"No baby I'm ok" I say giving her a smile. I wasn't lying.

"But you arm ed" she says pointing to my arm. I look down to see a red hand print on my light skin. I sigh and shake my head. just then j hear the front door open and shut, I look behind me to see Jason gone. i guess he left so he didn't have to deal with this.

"Is daddy doeing to be don for a long time aden?" She asks with years falling down her face. I pull her closer so her little head is laying on my chest.

"No sweetie he is just going out to do some work. Ok, so how about we go play dress up with the twins!" I say trying to cheer her up. Once she heard 'dress up' her head popped up and she had a big smile on her face.

"Eben buter?!" She asks jumping up and down. I laugh and nod. She runs off into the living room and I follow behind her. This should be fun.

Jason POV

I'm a terrible person. I'm a terrible father, husband, leader, friend, son, everything. I put my hands on my wife again, even though it was just a grab i let my temper get the better of me.

I shake my head and pull up to the park where I am going to meet the two new members. I step outside, snow falling all around me. I see my breath before my face as I walk over to a bench. I clear the snow and sit down on it, i take this chance to take out a cigarette and light it. Its a new addiction of mine now, but I mostly do it when I'm stressed or overthinking stuff.

Kelli doesn't know I smoke these, which I hate that I hid it from her but in a way I need them. I bring the cigarette back up to my mouth, inhaling the smoke, letting it go to my lungs before blowing it back out.

I look to my right to see two guys walking closer to me. I stand up and throw my cigarette into the snow, letting it burn out on its own. I look back at the two guys.

"McCann?" The shorter one asks. I nod my head and take a step closer.

"I'm Za and this is John" the short one says pointing to him then to the other guy.

"Nice to meet you. So are you ready to do this, well are you sure you want to do this?" I ask them. They both nod and so do I.

"Meet me at this house tomorrow, this is where you will be staying. I will go over your jobs and the rules then" I say handing them a piece of paper with the gang house address. They nod and then walk off. Well that's done.

I walk back over to my car and turn on the heat. Once I'm warmed up I back up and drive down the street. I see a flower store so I quickly stop and pull in. I run in side and pay for two dozen roses. I also got some chocolate for the kids, even though the twins can't eat it they still can lick it.

After paying for everything I left and started my way back home. I look around the small quite town, it's not my hometown but it's not far from it either.

I pulled into the driveway and into the garage. The house had woods around it, since we were the only ones around we had a big in ground pool, a patio with grill and a big table on it and a big swing-n- play for the kids.

The gang house was only about a mile down the road, so they are close enough to get to but they have their privacy. I open up the front door and walk in, I hear some One Direction playing from the living room. I smile and walk in to see Kelli and Melanie dancing around, singing along with the music. Mel turns and see me, she smiles and runs over to me, while Kelli turns off the music.

"Daddy, we payed dress up, did makeup, dance!" She says while jumping up and down I laugh at her and kiss her on the forehead. I hand her a box of chocolates and stand up and walk over to Kelli.

"I got you these. I'm really sorry about everything" I say handing her the flowers. She smiles and smells them.

"It's ok but I meant everything I said" she says before kissing me and walking off into the kitchen. I walk over to the twins who were awake, laying in there play pin.

"Kelli! What did you do to my son!" I yell once j see Adrian. He had on a pink dress and little hair pins.

"That was your oldest daughter's doing" she say walking into the living room. I look over at Mel to see her smile and swinging her arms back and forth. I grin and run over to her, picking her up, putting her on her my shoulder.

"I'm going to make you pay!" I yell jokingly. She laughs as i spin her around. I lay her down on the couch and start to tickle her.

"Say I love you daddy!" I yell while tickling her. Her little giggles fill the room, tears almost coming to her eyes from laughing so much.

"I wove you d-daddy" she says through her giggles. I finally stop and kiss her on the head. I look over at Kelli to see her have a hand on her hip.

"What you want tickled to?" I ask her walking closer. She shakes her head and points to the crib.

"I don't want it but I think someone feels left out" she says. I scrunch my eyebrows together and look in the crib to see both twins have pouty faces.

"Aww I'm sorry babies" I say picking both of them up at the same time. I kiss all over both of their faces until little toothless smiles spread on their faces.

"Ok well you can bath them since I did it last night. I have this brat" Kelli says from behind me. I hear Mel's giggles, I turn to see Kelli holding Melanie upside down. I laugh as Kelli begins to walk up the stairs. I follow her, getting ready for the night.
