The woman ran into her room, packing some clothes and shoes into a small backpack before looking frantically through the drawers for money.

Finding a stash she had hidden under her bed, she placed it in her purse before walking to her son's bedroom, her hair tied back and her lips holding the keys to her old jeep.

Opening up the door to his closet, she grabbed a bag for him, putting some of his clothes inside before hanging both bags on her shoulders and turning around to carry her son in her arms.

Pulling a blanket over his sleepy body, she turned towards the door of his bedroom, walking out quietly along the house hall.

She had to escape.

His life was the only thing that mattered and getting out of the country was her last hope.

She had called her friend Grecia, a woman known for her underground organizations who had promised to protect her once she did the deed.

Running into her car, she placed her son on the passenger's seat, securing him with a belt before running to the drivers side and turning the steering wheel of the jeep

She had to run away as fast as she could. She just had to.

The road seemed never ending, her palms sweaty and stomach turning.

By the time daylight came, she knew her actions would be discovered.

The smell of blood reeked from her body, her tears rolling as she made her final stop.

It was her friends smallest property, but also the most protected, the huge mansion being overshadowed by the actions taken that night.

They'd been planning it for three years, how to kill her husband.

He was good for nothing man, hitting her and her son until her son nearly died. She'd been in and out of the hospital, hurt over and over by a man who had promised love and protection. Seeing her son in a hospital bed connected to so many machines to keep him alive had made her lose her mind and she had had enough of it.

Her biggest fear was being pregnant again by that man, the woman looking down at her stomach hoping to God his last disgusting attempt at “making her happy” hadn't left a trail.

He'd done so much evil, he didn't deserve to have more kids who'd simply come to hate him like she did, or worse, end up dead.

Getting out of the car, she was immediately escorted in by two of Grecia's henchman.

They grabbed her son from the back of the car and some of her belongings before placing her son on her arms and rushing her in, all of the men carrying large guns around their neck.

There she was. She wore one of her usual red colored gowns, her black fur coat reaching the floor while the jewels around her neck, ears, and wrist only showed off her riches. She was Grecia, a fierce and wonder woman as graceful as her name implied.

She smiled at the woman, walking down the steps of the stairs she was on, widening her arms to hug her and the sleeping child.

“Elaine, my dear and lovely Elaine, I'm glad you were able to make it,” she yelled.

The name confused the woman, until her friend neared her ear to whisper, “no one is to know your real name for the sake of keeping you alive. Your son's name will also be changed to keep him safe. I thought Jimin would suit him nicely don't you think?”

The woman cried, her friend's arms wrapped around her tighter.

“Quick, we must get you out of the city before sunrise. Come with me. I have a jet ready to take us to the next city over in a couple minutes. I'm sorry I can't fly you out of the country, but if I leave out of here my trail will easily lead them to where you'll be living next. Now come,” she urged, snapping at her henchman to come help the woman.

“Burn all her things immediately and get rid of the car. Leave no trail of her welcoming, men,” she ordered.

“But my-”

“The less of your past you carry the more you can move forward. Now come, we are going to give you a decent new look for your travel, Arthur, have the camera ready for her passport picture and other info. Shouldn't be hard to re-create your past life,” Grecia mumbled, taking the woman's arm and pulling her through a small corridor.

The room she was placed in was one of magic, the man who sat her down on a chair cutting her hair up and changing the color, worked fast before giving her a new change of clothes and making her old clothes disappear.

Grecia smiled, watching the woman by the door before leading her to another room where a woman handed her a bag.

“That bag is where I've left a new account with some cash in it along with a debit card under your name for the country of Eralan. The moment you cross over you'll be able to live well for a couple years until everything settles down here. I owe your family far more than this, but for now, this is the least I can do. Now let's go. We have to get to next city over to hopefully get you set up with your new identity to you and your kid. From there I'll have an agent of mine smugle  you over with your new identity. Hopefully the kid won't make such a fuss.”

The woman followed behind her friend, her son being placed on the her lap.

He was still asleep, unaware of the horror that laid ahead.

“Elaine, you were brave. It's time for Y/N's wear about to become unknown.”
