All stories written and submitted for the contest must adhere to Wattpad's Content Guidelines.

You are welcome to share your story in the comments. 

This can be posted as a collection or as part of a collection. 

We strongly advise against using AI since you cannot claim the copyright to AI-generated content, and you need to own and control all the rights to the poem you submit

Daily Word Prompt:

Poetry entries must be in English

The poetry entry cannot be longer than 20 lines

Entries are required to be original and written solely for this contest, written as of the 1st of April.

Entries are to be submitted using the submission form. Poetry entries can be copied and pasted into the form, with the link included.

Participants can submit only one poem per poetry prompt

Must contain the daily word prompt.

Mature and sensitive topic entries are required to be marked as such in the submission form

The contest closes on the 7th of May, 2026 at 11:59 pm EST. Submissions can be submitted at any time before the deadline.

Challenge Prompt:

Challenge prompt entries must be in English

Entries for the Challenge prompt must be no more than 1200 words.

Entries are required to be original and written solely for this contest,written as of the 1st of April.

Entries are to be submitted using the submission form. Challenge prompt entries can be submitted with the link to it being included

Participants can submit only one entry per Challenge prompt 

Submissions for this need to be in the style of epic poetry, villanelle, prose or sestina.

Mature and sensitive topic entries are required to be marked as such in the submission form

The contest closes on 7th of May, 2026 at 11:59 pm EST. Submissions can be submitted at any time before the deadline.
