"I hear I should be proud of you." Mike says coming into my room and sitting next to me on the bed.

"What?" I questioned.

"Is it true that you have never participated in Dance before today?" Mike questions.

"I'm sorry Mike, I just I hate it so I never take my kit and then they don't let me do it." I explain.

"Well then I am proud of you for taking it today and getting a 4 in Dance." He tells me.

"Look Teagen we need to talk."

"You didn't want to talk earlier when you gave up and told me I was unreachable." I argued.

"That's not what I meant but I'm still not going to lecture you and shout we are going to talk about what's been happening. Starting with today." Mike replies.

"I don't know we were in citizenship and this girl behind me was talking, so I asked her to be quiet and then I was the one being sent out so I just started arguing because it wasn't even my fault but he didn't like it so he sent me to isolation cause he didn't want me 'to get out of control'. Ever since I got suspended none of the teachers even give me a chance." I explain.

"Right well I will go and speak to the school about that. What happened once you got to isolation?"

"Well they wanted me to go back and get work to do but I didn't want to go in there cause I knew he would just shout at me so I refused and sat down doing my book report. They didn't like it so they called you." I tell him.

"What about French the other day?" He asks.

"I don't even know what I did wrong. I was quiet for the whole lesson I promise I was trying really hard and Jody was helping me." I reply thinking back to the day when Jody had jabbed me in the ribs to keep me quiet.

"right well I am going to talk to the school and sort a few things and then we can have another talk but you know where I am if you need me before that." Mike informs me.

"Your not grounding me?" I ask a little confused.

"No because I can see now that you are really trying your hardest at school. Your already grounded till the end of the months so, I won't add anymore weeks on and after that we take it from there. Don't think this is a free pass though if you stop trying at school then I will change my mind."

"Thank you Mike, I will try my hardest."
