The music is playing loudly, a bit too loud for my liking. I expected more from this place. Rex is still dancing like a lunatic, and I'm stuck talking to Felix. The song then switches to the Macarena. Felix gets up to join in after all, everyone knows the dance routine to it!

"You coming?" He asked as he walks over.

"Nah, break a leg!" I say sarcastically as I wave goodbye. Then out of know where Rex walks over straight to me,

"I love this song!" He says as he grabs my arm and practically drags me over to the dance floor.now I'm just standing there like a total idiot.

"C'mon, just this one dance?" Rex pleaded.

"Fine!" I surrendered as I joined in. I look around and everyone I know is dancing, except Slade. I look around and spot him sitting on a couch with a table right in front of it. As the song ended I decide to go to where he is, I take a seat and it was stone hard and extremely cold. It sent shivers down my spine. He grinned and said

"You'll get used to it." I turned around and could see that everyone was walking towards us; Rex was leading the way. They all sat down. Felix is on my left and Rex is on my right, this makes me very uncomfortable. Slade looked up at me and could easily see that I was cramped. He pointed to a seat opposite us for the others to sit on. The looked at it then finally decided to sit down.

"Ugh, I'm exhausted!" Rex said as he sat down and let out a big breath. A man walked up to us saying

"Here are your drinks." We all looked at Slade.

" I ordered for the table!" He replied. Everyone nodded and took a sip from their drinks, after all, there probably all parched.

" so Slade, what's this mission all about anyway?" I ask, I'm done with all these secrets, I want answers.

" we need to retrieve a precious gem that allows people with powers to use them to their limit." He said, and with that I felt like I didn't need to ask anything else. So I didn't. Everyone's eyes lit up with hope, except mine. I just took a sip from my drink. All was quiet, the only thing that could be heard was the loud music booming in my ear.

"Guys, i'm getting a head ache, can we go home?" I ask.

"Can't we just stay here a little longer?" Rex pleaded.

"Decisions yours..." Felix said.

"Well, i'm going home, if anyone wants to join me be my guest." I say raspily. I head to the exit with Slade and Felix trailing behind. I was hoping someone would come with me, What I didn't notice was Jade was also there with them. She smiled as I opened the door to leave.
